Reality check by Ms K.
Feel hopeful, yet not at the same time.
Hopeful because, there’s no choice, i need and i have to get the grade.
Not, because, hello? look at how many days left now. and why, if 8/10 in rj, 5-6/10 in other schools are able to get the A, why is it that i can’t still.
‘Don’t give up’
‘I’m not going to’
That’s what I said and that’s what I believe, I pray that somehow I’ll have the perseverance and strength to do whatever it takes.
And I’m really grateful for teachers like her. Can’t aptly describe how grateful I am.
New record - 40 minutes to walk home!
Feel so much better after walking. Had major brain freeze/headache after today’s marathon lessons from 1.45-4.00pm, I don’t know how we survived.
Tried to change my handwriting into something more legible today. Hope it’s an improvement sigh.
Shall try to walk home if i can every day since i have no time to really exercise plus I’ve been eating like a pig bah. Another reason why I don’t like studying.
Very tired and angsty. It’s either PMS or I’m just feeling !@#%^&* just because. Should have taken up boxing/kickboxing a long time ago and install a punching bag in my room because I really feel like unleashing all the pent up energy/emotions on a punching bag.
And I wonder if I can make it but there’s no point wondering too.

Prologue - Beauty and the Beast
Once upon a time, in a faraway land, a young Prince lived in a shining castle. Although he had everything his heart desired, the Prince was spoiled, selfish, and unkind. But then, one winter’s night, an old beggar woman came to the castle and offered him a single rose in return for shelter from the bitter cold. Repulsed by her haggard appearance, the Prince sneered at the gift, and turned the old woman away. But she warned him not to be deceived by appearances, for beauty is found within and when he dismissed her again, the old woman’s ugliness melted away to reveal a beautiful enchantress. The Prince tried to apologize, but it was too late, for she had seen that there was no love in his heart. As punishment, she transformed him into a hideous beast, and placed a powerful spell on the castle, and all who lived there. Ashamed of his monstrous form, the beast concealed himself inside his castle, with a magic mirror as his only window to the outside world. The rose she had offered, was truly an enchanted rose, which would bloom until his 21st year. If he could learn to love another, and earn their love in return by the time the last petal fell, then the spell would be broken. If not, he would be doomed to remain a beast for all time. As the years passed, he fell into despair, and lost all hope. For who could ever learn to love a Beast?
Once upon a time we sat in front of the television watching this, young and carefree.
When you try but don’t get it.
“You should work harder.”
When you thought you could but really, you couldn’t.
